Celebrate National Deli Month 2018 With Sarge’s

It’s that delicious time of the year again when National Delicatessen Month returns to neighborhoods all over the nation – and Sarge’s Deli is offering a special, customized three-course menu. This year, a portion of the proceeds from the special culinary event will go directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Now in its third year, National Deli Month is an annual event that is celebrated by the top Jewish delis in the country. Throughout August delicatessens all over the nations are promoting a unique prix fixe dinner menu featuring outstanding traditional Jewish dishes. Each deli will donate some of the profits to different charitable organizations in their own community.

So, what’s on the menu in 2018 for Sarge’s Deli? Some of the great Jewish deli cuisine you will find this year includes Stuffed Derma with Gravy, Fried Kreplach, Stuffed Cabbage, Hungarian Beef Goulash, Boiled Chicken in the Pot with Matzo Ball, and Corned Beef & Cabbage with Boiled Potato.

If you’re more in the mood for one of Sarge’s world famous deli sandwiches you can chose Corned Beef & Pastrami, a Ruben, or a Robin. Each of Sarge’s Combination Sandwiches comes with a choice of two sides. Such as Sarge’s Famous Crinkle Cut Fries, Creamed Spinach, Potato Pancake, and many more.

And make sure you leave room for dessert because Sarge’s is serving up your choice of Plain, strawberry, Oreo, or Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake – or Sarge’s assorted Ruggelach. This year the number of delis participating in this culinary event has increased to over thirty restaurants nationwide. Some of the delis getting involved this year include Factor’s Famous Deli and Brent’s Delicatessen & Restaurant in Los Angeles, Famous 4^th Street Delicatessen and Hymie’s Merion Delicatessen & Restaurant in Philadelphia, Hobby’s Delicatessen & Restaurant in Newark, Noshville Deli in Nashville, 3G’s Gourmet Deli & Restaurant and Bagel Snack in Florida.
