Grub Street Names Sarge’s As One Of The Absolute Best Restaurants in Murray Hill

To say that Christopher Bonanos over at Grub Street likes Sarge’s is probably the understatement of the year. Chris gave Sarge’s some really high praise while taking down some of our competitors a few notches. Here’s an excerpt from his article discussing the food at Sarge’s…

…Sarge’s pastrami is — yes — better than Katz’s, better than 2nd Avenue’s, better than anybody’s. (Your palate may differ.) The rest of the traditional menu — the chicken soup, the kreplach — is more than solid, and locals know that the burger is much better than your average diner slider. It is also open 24/7, making it a genuine goddamned treasure.

Chris also ranked Sarge’s as his #2 pick for his best restaurants in Murray Hill list. Thanks Chris! To read everything he said about Sarge’s, check out the full article over at grubstreet.com
